Beach Icons:
Old-fashioned bikini shot with girls looking toward the Pacific Ocean on a sunny, patriotic day.
Three ladies looking at the Pacific as seen from behind them shows their patriotic colors of swimwear in red, white and blue. The image is somewhat iconic, but actually changes along with the styles of fashion wear that are "in" at any given time. This photo was taken a while back as today there would be less swimsuit and more string and skin to see. There would likely be more tattoos, as well. But trends change so what is considered iconic today in terms of people at the beach will assuredly be different in the future.
Three girls looking at the ocean at a California beach -- timeless!
This picture was obviously a set up. The girls selected their clothing to a theme of Americana and patriotism. Here's a lesson for you all. Though photo releases were obtained and I was paid for this gig, as time passed one girl wanted her face not to be shown. Out of respect I will only publish the back shots. However, if you agree to be photographed you should think about the ramifications. Similarly, those who post on social networks should be mindful of the long-term consequence of photos appearing that you one day would like to remove.
Another problem we can't avoid are the invasive cameras on buildings and public and private piers everywhere. When you are out in the public these days, you are likely being filmed by some company, city, police department or other entity at a beach location. One video camera feed at Huntington Beach Pier broadcasts to a giant screen inside a store in New York City. Do behave!
